Back in March we revealed that The Rossy Rays cycle team were planning to tackle the Coniston 10,000, a challenging off road cycle route named after the 10,000 feet of climbing the cyclists have to endure.

Today we are happy to report that all of our riders came through the challenge with flying colours! In fact, according to several of the cyclists’ activity trackers, the total elevation they climbed was closer to 15,000 feet than 10,000.

A number that was entirely appropriate because this year the group raised over £15,000 for the Rossy Rays! Smashing the £10,000 target that the group had set for itself!

The Rossy Rays would like to congratulate our wonderful riders on a quite remarkable achievement as well as a massive thank you to the people who donated to our charity.

Here’s to next year’s ride!
